Destination Wedding Tips from a photographer
Your wedding day is arriving and you have done a lot of planning to make your dream wedding come true. Hopefully you have had some help to make things easier, but there are a few things that you will want to avoid. Here is a list of mistakes to take into consideration…as a photographer experienced the most recent mistakes.

THE WRONG WEDDING ATTIRE
You are dressed in your wedding gown and picture perfect, but did you remember that the elements outside are unpredictable. The sun and wind are beautiful, however they can be devastating while you walk down the aisle imagine you booke an amazing location in Santorini. You might want to choose a gown that has a light flowing material to keep you cool under the sun. Your footwear should be easy to walk in on the sand ore rocky roads of Greek Islands. Consider to have a second pair of flat, flip flops, or sandals, because heels will just sink into the sand or even make your legs hurt. Also think about whether or not you are going to wear a veil. No matter what the length, the wind is going to blow it everywhere. One way to remedy that is to weigh it down with clear fishing line weights.
BEAUTY MISTAKES
Now think about your beauty routine before and during your wedding day. You should do any waxing, tanning and visit the salon before you arrive at your destination. This will give your hair and body the time to adjust and settle. Stay away from tanning lotion, if you are not comfortable at the tanning salon you should get a spray tan two days before your ceremony. Be careful not to get a sunburn and remember that you don’t want any tan lines – bring a strapless bathing suit or top. On the day of your wedding, me as your photographer should create the best possible photographs. Of course skin retouching is available. But wedding in Greek Islands probably will make you feel the need for partying and beach life moments and forget about the hot sun!
BUDGET
When planning any wedding you will want to create a budget. There can be a lot of extra costs that you may not have thought off. One unexpected expense is traveling to your destination to make all of the arrangements. You should consider choosing a wedding planner, but they need you to decide on the details that you would like.
EXTRAS
Here are a few extra things to take into consideration when it comes to your wedding. Think about purchasing Wedding Insurance. This will cover you financially if anything happens during the wedding. Make sure you get all of your paperwork in order. Passports and Visas must be up to date. Last but not least, don’t forget your guests. Having activities planned for them will let them enjoy their trip to your destination. In their Welcome Bags, include a map, a list of local restaurants, and the local attractions. You want to make them feel as welcome as you can.
Avoiding these possible mistakes will make your wedding a breeze. You will walk down the aisle with nothing to worry about. Let the wind blow through your hair, feel the soft sand under your feet, hear the waves crashing on the shore, and watch the sunset behind you as you say your vows. Your destination wedding will be a beautiful memory for you and your guests!
